Chariti Home Ministries "Without Walls" External Mentoring Program
Chariti Home Ministries' crisis management and external mentoring program has four primary areas that we work on with our participants in helping them to establish independence.
Linking young parents to safe housing, domestic violence shelters, case management, counseling, and doctors. In addition, if they qualify, we provide gift cards for food, clothing, formula, and bus passes or link them to appropriate community agencies.
Establishing and achieving personal goals related to health care, emotional stability, educational enhancement and vocational readiness.
Teaching appropriate parenting skills in an effort to create a lasting bond between members and their children in order to significantly reduce or prevent the risk of child abuse and neglect.
Empowering participants toward effective household management, budgeting, appropriate parenting skills and access to community resources.
